not a "blue" christmas!

Christmas in blue

Christmas is...
praying for peace for Trevor (my other brother!) as his wife Carol is no longer by his side and looking forward to seeing him through the holidays...{hang in their Trev :)}

phoning my massage therapist this morning and finding she had a cancellation at 3:00 p.m. today (my right shoulder/whiplash has been hurting as I overdid an exercise in Yoga on Thursday).

Yoga Connexion e-mailed our group and said that their is free family yoga tonite from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. which will be a self-practice and to bring our family members with us to teach a pose or two or just to practice - I am hoping tom will come with me as he is so into being fit I could not believe how toned he is becoming)

I looked out the kitchen window and all 4 horses are running around and kicking and bucking and the snow and manes and tails are flying they seemed to be having a wonderful time. If you have never seen horses play you are missing a fun moment.

These three things that happened this morning have started my Christmas and I thank the "spirit of God" for the graces he gives me.

My sister and her family are coming tommorrow as well as my Mom and Dad (yes they still travel even at the age of 78 years old). I did not know if they were all going to make it here.. but they are. Mom and Dad will stay until boxing day and my sister's family will leave Christmas Eve as they are having Christmas in Calgary with her in-laws. My brother Dave's family is celebrating Christmas in Melville with his in-laws and Lisa sent me this message:

"We think of Graham often... and during the holiday season.. Jaida was singing at the old folk homes for the sch choir. when she was done she had a funny look on her face .. I asked and she said just thinking and thinking and sending good wishes to Graham".

Guardian Angel Prayer

Guardian Angel from heaven so bright,
Watching beside me to lead me aright,
Fold thy wings round me, and guard me with love,
Softly sing songs to me of heaven above.
Amen
.

Peace and Joy to all my readers!

{the cat in this mosiac is amazing as it is exactly what "snowball" looks like ..even the white markings!}

What a beautiful posting you have today Donna! It brought tears to my eyes. I just know that our loved ones we have lost watch over us. You can sometimes feel them can't you? It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful Christmas with family home. And I love the picture of your whole family at the top of the page and of course, the horses and kitty in your mosiac are very endearing! All the best to you this week and in the New Year Donna! Good thoughts to you and your family!

I am so glad to hear that Christmas is not "blue" for you and your family anymore. I think of you often as I watch my children and it makes me even more grateful for what I have. Have a great holiday with your family, Donna; I am so glad that so many of them are able to be here with you this year! See you in 2009! Sharla
