a summer day in 1980

I promised a few blog posts ago that I would reveal my wedding dress and open the preserved and heirloomed box that it lay in for 30 years.  How simple the veil and dress were.  I felt a little bit like "Scarlet O'hara" when I wore this on my wedding day.  I loved the flow of the skirt.

our attendants Morley, Gail, Ilona and Brian's brother Trev (still  wonderful strong friend connections today with all of them).  This picture makes me laugh! crazy fun!

The 'love contract' signed and sealed  30 years ago.  We have had great times and learned hard lessons and understand now what it takes to keep our marriage going (it's hardwork but rewarding).  We know we  are ENOUGH and are surging forward with a more purposeful life in front of us.

Cheers!

Well now ~ there is a happy cute young couple! A very happy anniversary to you and your hubby Donna.

Ahhh....the styles of the 80's...classic...now if the 'big' hair would only come back I would be one happy girl!

What memories your wedding pictures brought back -- you, radiant in that perfect dress, that new husband of yours, a ton of fun at the dance, and the upscale hotel your guests got to stay in -- happy 30th year -- ours is coming soon too. xoxo p.s. See, I told you I take a sneak peak once in awhile...
