This was floating by our Kayak on the Hanalei River. These flowers were dropping off the bushes onto the water. All I could think of was "beauty". we left the island of Kauai last night and heard the news of Chile's 8.8 earthquake. Hawaii appears to have had a very minor wave surge from it! I just received an update from my brother-in-law's family.
